Die Cast Zinc Restoration
Commonly known as "Pot Metal", die cast zinc parts can be tricky items to restore. Our process starts with stripping away material that might cause the new surface to fail.
We carefully make any repairs that can be done on these parts. Then we begin a five step plating process beginning with strike copper. Our second metal layer is nickel plating. Third, we add a heavy copper plating which is sanded and buffed to a high shine.
The final two steps in the process are nickel plating and our high quality chrome plating.
